To be an ideal candidate you should have worked in a Senior Linux Administration position for a minimum of 5 years providing support and complex solutions in a large enterprise environment. Essential Skills Required:
5+ years in Linux / Debian Systems Administration in a large enterprise environment.
In depth knowledge / commercial experience in Cacti monitoring including customisation.
You must be an expert in a minimum of one of the following – BASH / Perl / PHP / Postfix scripting
It is essential to have working knowledge with MySQL
Excellent communication skills
Have the ability to work in an unstructured environment
Non Essential Skills Required:
Working knowledge of Apache would be of benefit
A familiarity of Cisco TCP/IP, switching and routing technologies.
Experience in SNMP technologies
Bachelors degree or relevant qualification
